I have been made aware of a couple of incidents that you should know about. The first is from a family on Waverly:
On New Year's Day morning (4 a.m to be exact) someone threw a brick through the glass door from our deck to sunroom and grabbed my pocketbook which was sitting in a chair in the sunroom. They also took Michael's bike. We called police, they sent an officer, and we filed a report. Also, around Christmas, someone broke into my dad's car on Hawthorne and another car down the street. They are roaming our neighborhood in the wee hours.
Also, this information and the attached flyer came from Tattersalls:
The attached flyer was posted at a local doctors office that my dad recently visited. Back months ago an email was circulated mentioning the red Cherokee. The lady who posted this works at the doctors office. My dad spoke to her and she told him that her house was broken into a couple of months ago and approx. $10k worth of jewelry was stolen. They arrested the girl mentioned in the flyer and when it went to court the judge let her go "because she will not be able to pay restitution from jail". The women from the doctors office was obviously not happy and followed the thief to her house and created the flyer. I am trying to get up with her so that I can get more info. I will keep you posted. My house on Tattersalls Dr. was broken into last July.
Please continue to ever vigilant, call the police when necessary, keep everything locked up, and communicate any information so that we may all be aware of what is happening in our neighborhood.
